I am a development and labor economist whose research agenda focuses on gender equality and three key dimensions of human development emphasized in international development: financial access, health, and education. I primarily utilize field and lab experiments in low-and middle income countries to identify causal relationships motivated by theory and policy, often in partnerships with development practitioners. I have conducted research projects across multiple settings, including India, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Madagascar, and Sri Lanka.
